Beverly (Hoops) Solberg, age 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 31, 2018. She was born on Oct. 14, 1938, to Raymond and Helen (Anderson) Hoops. Beverly attended Madison West High School, UW Madison and Luther College.Beverly is survived by her loving husband, Karl Solberg; children, Kristi, Doug and Debbie; grandchildren, Edward, Lucy, Carly and Ashley; sister, Nancy; and brother, Richard. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ray John.Per the family’s wishes, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Winchester Public Library, 2117 Lake St. Winchester, WI 54557; the Winchester Lions Club, 7116 Hiawatha Lake Rd. Robert T. Shorey

Shorey, age 75, of Cottage Grove, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018, at Agrace HospiceCare.He was born on Nov. 11, 1942, the son of Earl and Irene (Oknewski) Shorey. Robert graduated from Merrill High School in 1960, and from Wisconsin School of Electronics in 1969.  He married Jane Wendorf on Aug. 28, 1965, in Merrill.   Robert worked in the medical electronics repair industry and owned his own company.  He enjoyed classic cars, Las Vegas trips and playing with his grandchildren. Robert is survived by his wife, Jane; son, David; daughter, Christine (Brooks) Vrooman; grandchildren, Hailey and Zachary Vrooman; step-granddaughter, Sadie Vrooman; step-great-grandson, Jack Bentley; brothers, Leroy, Richard and Joe; and many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.Gunderson EastFuneral & Cremation Care5203 Monona Dr.(608) 221-5420...
